Hispanic Heritage Celebration Month with Maricela Miles-Mattingly

Hispanic Heritage Month is coming! 

It is a period from 15th of September to 15th of October in the US to celebrate the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.

And we're not gonna wait until the 15th of September to celebrate, we're starting it now!

As we celebrate this cultural month, my wife, Maricela Miles-Mattingly joins me to share her story and other things she has never talked about before!

In this episode, Maricela talks about what Hispanic Heritage means to her. She will also share her story, as well as her perception on Mexicans crossing the border, and the courageous story of how her parents and grandparents moved over to the US in order to provide a better life and opportunity for their children and family!

Emlen was born and raised in the small town of Madera, CA this is also where the firm is located. He is married to Maricela and they have 4 children Jada, Mia, Emlen II, and Ecella. We have a very active life, we enjoy working out, hiking, craft beer and escaping to the coast whenever possible.
