Finding Your Niche and Doing What you Love with Jannese Torres-Rodriguez

Representation is something usually overlooked, but when a big portion of the workforce is composed of minorities, it really shouldn’t be.

Joining me today is Jannese Torres-Rodriguez, a proud Latina and Puerto Rican, and an absolute jack-of-all-trades in the best way possible. We're going to discuss the lack of minorities in the financial planning sector, and how to widen one's investment portfolios.

Our goal today is to shed some light on the path to financial success, especially for those that may not have had this growing up.

Jannese goes into detail about the instability of a nine-to-five job, the importance of side hustles to financial independence, and how you should take that step to doing what you love as your own profitable business.

Highlights:

>> The lack of representation in the financial planning sector

>> Misconceptions of wealth and investments from our parents

>> Using racial anonymity in investments to grow your wealth

>> Financial Independence and Early Retirement

>> Taking freelance opportunities to increase income

>> Debt management and prioritizing payment

>> The importance of conversations about money

>> Using your community as a relevant network and meeting new people
