Behavioral Finance: How We Think About Money with Brian Portnoy

With behavioral finance only formally discovered as early as 50 years ago, there’s been almost a lack of conversation around it. At the end of the day, after people invest, the question that’s asked runs more along the lines of “Is this enough?” and, “Am I going to be okay?”

In this episode, I’m joined by Brian Portnoy, the founder of Shaping Wealth, and the author of books that discuss and talk about behavioral finance. With over 15 years of experience, Brian coined the term funding contentment as a way to really hook people into understanding the relevance of how our earning abilities affect both our happiness and our peace of mind.

Jump in on our conversation as Brian shares with us how we can underwrite a life that is meaningful to us!
